Sofa color stems from my insistence on blue! The chairs reflect Rod's insistence on mid-century modern. What was that saying about marriage consisting of one long compromise? . . . The painting above the fireplace may eventually be moved to the DR wall. Note that the carpet pad was the wrong size. Since this photo was taken, it has been cut to the proper size and is no longer visible.
It is hard to tell in this photo, but the white leather chairs have brown edges that closely match the color of the dark wall & monolith, as well as the sleek kitchen counter stools (not shown).
