Roofing and Hardscaping on the 1st day of summer in Seattle

This was yesterday in Seattle. Compare and contrast to San Francisco.



Roofing material is called "TPO", which is a vinyl membrane. Contractor picked it for durability (50 years), ease of use, energy efficiency (because it is white and reflects light), and lack of permeability.  You will need shades to look at our roof!
