Our walls are going to have baseboards that are flush - meaning no protrusion from the wall as you often see in old San Francisco homes. Instead of a protruding base board, we will demarcate the base board with a "reveal" - which basically looks like a slit/slot aross the lower part of the wall.
But, we have some areas where base board "conditions" are odd. One place is at the top of the stairs onto the bridge:

The architect has revealed his solutions. Stay tuned! When the work or house is complete, ALL will be revealed.
